Load Sharing Facility (or simply LSF) is a commercial computer software job scheduler sold by Platform Computing.
LSF softwares is used to manage and accelerate workload processing for compute- and data-intensive applications. Platform LSF is an intelligent scheduler and can be used for batch workloads across distributed IT environments regardless of operating system, including desktops, servers and mainframes.
Integration
It can be used to execute batch jobs on networked Unix systems, on many different architectures, and is able to integrate with Advanced Schedulers and Workload Managers which enhance the overall efficiency and integration of different platforms, software solutions and scheduling capabilities in a cluster environment.
