Compute Node

Also known as the slave node, the compute node is the basic computer that proccess jobs in a HPC system. This information about different hardware components also applys for the head node, the computer that distributes jobs to the slave nodes.Some of the hardware categories found in this section include: Processors, Hard Drives, Memory, and Network Cards.
